Northern Tech Awards 2013

  • Celebration of top tech entrepreneurship

    Having pioneered the ecosystem for tech entrepreneurs and technology companies in the North of England since 2006, on 25th April 2013, Techcelerate hosted the third Northern Tech Awards recognising and celebrating the best tech entrepreneurs and their technology companies.

    In 2011, Northern Tech Awards recognised CapsuleCRM, Apadmi, Thinspace, VUME, App55 and MPP Global Solutions as best technology companies in the North of England, which was supported by Paypal and MIDAS.

    In 2012, Northern Tech Awards supported by MIDAS, Aaraon and Partners, Crowe Clark Whitehill, Fourthday PR and ERDF recognised Construqtive, Makeurmove, Hiring Hub, Camiloo, Love your Larder, Apadmi, The Wedding Vine and My Yard as best technologies companies in the North of England.

    In 2013, supported by MIDAS, ERDF, Crowe Clark Whitehill and Fourthday PR, the judging panel of Northern Tech Awards recognised Apadmi (mobile, growth over £1 million and North West), APP55 (venture backed and enterprise), CANDDi (innovative), Malinko (bootstrapped), Melbourne (tech deal) and UKFast (growth over £10 million) as the leading technology companies in the North of England.

    In 2014, we plan to increase the number of awards to 14 by introducing additional regional categories; North East, Yorkshire and Humberside and Midlands.
