Bonamy Grimes, co-founder of Skyscanner – the brains behind one of the UK’s most successful online firms, and it all started when he met his co-founder, Gareth Williams, whilst studying Computer Science at Manchester University.
Bonamy Grimes co-founded Skyscanner from his attic in London early 2002. Since then the company has grown to be the largest independant travel search company in the world with over 700 employees with offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Barcelona, Singapore, Miami and Beijing.
During his time at Skyscanner Bonamy setup many of the functions within a rapidly growing business, ranging from operational scaling, digital marketing, data analytics through to product management and engineering.
Having recently stepped down from day to day involvement in the business, Bonamy has explored a number of projects involving his passions of cycling and motor racing as well as helping to mentor a number of start up companies in the UK.
